Photos I took last Saturday.  I bought Ilford HP5+ 120 film for the first time ever.  Tri-X is getting to be too expensive.  I like the look of the negatives, but they don’t dry as flat as Kodak stuff.  I’ll keep working with it though.

I started developing film again last week.  I’m going to give private photography lessons and hope that it’ll get me back into the swing of things.  This roll of film spans January-October 2012.

A paper negative from my 4x5 Cambo when I first got it.   Fomapan VC paper, ISO 2 effective speed.   Sort of a cool look between film and wet plate.

I just found one of my own photos from Flickr with 601 reblogs.. I figured I might as well be 602.  This was an experiment to make my own film developer out of instant coffee and crushed vitamin-C tablets.

Screen shots mostly of Joe Pesci in ‘The Public Eye,’ a 1992 movie loosely based off of real life photographer Arthur Felig (Weegee.)  However, the dramatic story is purely fiction.  It took me a long time to find a copy of this movie.   It’s very visually pleasing.

I finally managed to shoot a roll of film this past Monday.   Hasselblad 503cx, Kodak Tri-X, Rodinal 1:50.
